End the Epidemic Louisiana

End the Epidemic Louisiana (ETELA) is a collaborative initiative spearheaded by the Louisiana Rural Ambulance Alliance aimed at combatting the growing issue of opioid misuse within our communities. Recognizing the urgent need for a multi-faceted approach, ETELA unites various sectors to promote education, prevention, and recovery strategies across Louisiana.

Our mission is to reduce opioid misuse and its devastating impacts through coordinated efforts involving healthcare providers, first responders, community organizations, and individuals. We strive to create a safer, healthier environment for all Louisiana residents by fostering partnerships and sharing resources. ETELA receives strong backing from the Louisiana Rural Ambulance Alliance and its member organizations. Together, we work to develop and implement strategies that address opioid misuse holistically. Our multi-sector groups are dedicated to creating a unified front, enhancing communication, and sharing best practices to effect meaningful change.
