Welcome to ACE4EMS, where our mission is to empower EMS and Allied Health students in rural Louisiana with the essential skills needed for exceptional patient care in both pre-hospital and hospital settings. United under the Louisiana Rural Ambulance Alliance (LRAA), are dedicated to advancing the EMS profession through continuous education, advocacy, and community involvement. We recognize the unique challenges faced by Louisiana's citizens and are committed to providing tailored programming and support for our members. Together, we strive to enhance the quality of care and ensure a bright for EMS in our state.

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Start your healthcare career as an Emergency Medical Technician with our EMT program.  The EMT is a front-line, entry-level healthcare provider.  As an EMT, you may work in a variety of environments:  transporting patients between facilities, responding to emergency calls, in a hospital emergency department, and elsewhere a first-response capability is required.  EMT certification and work experience are required for those seeking Paramedic training, and many doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers started their careers as EMTs.

Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT)

Instructor Opportunities

The Alliance Center of Education for EMS (ACE4EMS) is looking for Louisiana Certified EMS Educators to help us fulfill our mission of delivering the “Best of EMS Education” to rural areas in Louisiana. We seek EMS Educators with a proven track record of success, who can provide high-quality instruction while showcasing professionalism and accountability. Strong verbal and written communication are essential, along with the ability to perform all demonstration activities required for the courses taught.

Qualifications

- Experience as an advanced healthcare provider (AEMT, Paramedic)
- Effective teaching in a learning environment
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS instructor certification preferred
- Basic computer/typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Ability to utilize online programs for training classes and documentation
- Punctual, reliable, and a team player
- Minimum student pass rate of 80%

Refund Policy

For any refund or transfer requests after enrollment, please ensure your written request reaches our Main Office at least 10 days before the course starts. You can send your request via email to administrator@ace4ems.org. Refunds are based solely on tuition; a full 100% refund will be granted if you withdraw before the first day of class. Please refer to our Tuition Refund Schedule for specific refund percentages based on timing. If a course is canceled, the fees will be fully refunded.

Tuition Refund Schedule

All courses, excluding refresher courses

  • Up to the day before the 1st day of the course 100% refund.

  • First through seven calendar days after the course begins, there is a 50% refund.

  • Seven calendar days after the course starts, no refund is granted.

  • Should we ever have to cancel a course, we will issue you a full refund for the course fees you paid.
